Well, I was recently invited for a launch of their new basic range of smartphone and I must say we were rather impress with the quality, pricing and platform.
On that night, the launch took place at Pressroom at Bangsar Shopping Center.
Moments later when the event start, we were introduce to their latest range of entry level of smart phone, Nokia Asha 501 that lead by the Head of Marketing for the brief.
The Nokia Asha 501 makes high-end design, elegance and quality accessible to more people that comes in 6 striking colour. This phone was design to cater the needs of people that a touch away to access everything they love with a simple swipe and a back button.
The new Asha comes with Nokia Xpress Browser pre-loaded, which compress Internet data by up to 90% also its their first smart phone range to be build on their new Asha Platform with one of a company that they acquire in year 2012.
those are the colourful 6 colour that they have manufacture out, and guess how much would this pocket smart phone is. RM 299. Yap, for RM299 I would say its quite an impressive phone.
Not only that, the most impressive about this phone is their standby time, which is 48 hours for a smartphone. Full talk time is estimated about 12 hours & dual sim. Great battery life!
It would be available by end of June with only Yellow, Bright Red & Black follow by White, Cyan and Green will be available later.

Thinking back when was the last dinner I had for Hennessy and I thought it was like bout 2 months ago and never thought it was last year event. Time really flies and year 2012 definitely a great achievement in my blogging time. Never thought I would actually be in the scene with the rest as I usually love to read those foodie who got invited to such glamour event. It was a great break thru for me and thanks to you who give me this opportunity.
Then last week, right after I came back from my lunch I got a surprise delivery package on my working desk as I curiously open up the packaging and I was excited to see again hard dark black invitation card with gold wordings. I am amaze how this year invitation card looks like, that its a classic ticket that will sail us to a great discovery, as I was already impress with what Chef Han did last year (Food trail & Actual Day Dinner – click to read) and I am pretty sure that their latest selection of chef would definitely surprise us with her creation.
Then I insta on the invitation card, one of my close friend in US told me she loves her as she emerge as one of the last few final contender in Top Chef. I felt excited by her saying and cant wait to see her in action this week.

Born and raised in Troy, New York, Lee Anne, a 2nd generation Chinese- American, was not drawn to the kitchen, favoring sports –softball and ice hockey – instead.
A girl who started her study in fashion and how did she end up in cooking is when she found her passion for cuisine grows during her first year studying Fashion Design at FIT when she started cooking for friends. As her passion grows in cooking and decided to switch then she never look back since then.
Graduating from The French Culinary Institute (The FCI) Chef Wong jumped into the restaurant world. She immersed herself in New York’s fusion cuisine – working for several years at Marcus Samuelsson’s Aquavit, then Jean Georges Vongrichten’s Chinese venture, Restaurant 66. She has also cooked and staged in kitchens all over the world, including The French Laundry, Charlie Trotter’s of Chicago, Nobu, The Four Seasons, Trio, Casa Oaxaca in Mexico and Cap Jaluca in the British Virgin Islands – picking up global flavors and techniques along the way.
Chef Lee Anne Wong is also the Executive Chef of Event Operations at The French Culinary Institute by working alongside culinary heavy-hitters such as Jacques Pepin, Andre Soltner, Ferran Adria, Tyler Florence, and Martin Yan.
When my friend said that she loves her, only I realize that she emerge as fans favorite with her fusion flavors cooking that took her to no.4 in the competition of Top Chef. Since then, she become more popular

A last year end party of 2012 lasted at Red & Green event with Heineken. A series of event where they host all the world top 5 cities in the world that kick off with Rio de Janeiro, follow by Tokyo, Amsterdam, New York & Ibiza.

Year 2012 had pass and indeed it is a great year for me. Traveling more places in a year with both local and international that I have yet to blog about it. 😀

HEineken Thrist is making its wave in Malaysia shores when I attended my very first Thirst at year 2010 for Godskitchen Boombox with Tiesto spinning the deck and blast all my friends off. Since that event I am thirst for more, unfortunately last year I was unable to attend that clash with something important and look at the massive crowd . . . .
With year 2012 coming to an end and of course Heineken Thirst is coming back with a few great line ups. Tickets this year are selling like hot cakes, with only limited area left. Both Early Birds and Heinekabana already sold out coming fast with Pre-Sales are racing at its pace to sold out. This year its bigger and better with 2 massive arena along with 2 super DJ making their first debut in Malaysia shore on this upcoming 8th of Dec. For this round, there will be 2 area one with Main Stage and Star Arena that will have different DJ spinning Along.
