The Butcher’s Table at Sri Hartamas offers a variety of meat for you to choose from. more like cook kinda fresh from the choices you pick. They specialize in fresh pork dishes since 1992 till now. They have another outlet in SS2.I think some of you KL peeps might heard of Mr Ho’s Fine Foods in Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) in the late 1990s. Well, its run by the same owner. Just pick your favourite meat at this counter then have your meat cooked. Freshly unpack then cook upon order or you can check the board behind for recommendations or meat of the day.
Worst of all you can be noob like me, just flip The Butcher’s Table menu and choose what you want.
If I remember correctly, this dish should be Pork Neck Chop @ RM 34.65 with Potato Salad. This is really good as cook to perfection. Grill pineapple just add on hint of pineapple and give you a nice bite when you eat along with soft pork neck.
German sausage cook to perfection. Juicy and with mustard sauce, just perfecto! Smoked Pork Belly with sauerkraut @ RM28.90
It is not bad as the meat is cook nicely and sauerkrat is really good! moist and sourish enough with hint of vinegarish.
A decent place to swing by to a place to chill and I think BYO is foc or there is some small corkage. Advise to carry one over here to enjoy your porkie night.

What a big news piece for MCO 2.0. One of a world best chef Gordon Ramsay will be operating one of his famous chains Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill at Sunway Resort KL. Making this the celebrated multi-Michelin starred chef and TV star’s first Malaysian restaurant. Looking at Sunway official page, it mentions that the restaurant will be starting to operate in June.
I certainly looking forward for his Beef Wellington in the menu and certainly, hopefully, cross finger it will be in there. Have been aiming this since the day I saw it in Hell’s Kitchen.
All the above are for illustration purpose only. Looking forward for this new dining experience and I am sure it will be fully booked during the first 6 months. Since many of us cant travel.
How often have you guys start dining out. ? Me quite often, whenever there is opportunity. Envi Skydining at Menara TA One or just right opposite KLCC had open its door back to public dining with careful social distancing among diners. Best of all, it is a place where you can dine in and enjoy your dinner at affordable price while enjoying the mighty tower Petronas Twin Tower, KLCC.
On that day we reach, it was raining. If not, we will be choosing to dine outside.
A restaurant with spacious dining area.
Starting our dinner in style, with a glass of champagne.
Cream Cheese with Pear & Walnut @ RM24 of 4 pieces – personally like this as it is quite unique.
Spicy Eggplant Bruschetta @ RM 20 of 4 pieces
Creamy Mushrooms @ RM 20 of 4 pieces
Smoked Duck Breast Pizza@ RM 40 is like paper thin base. Simple and nice.
Something to serve you in style is this Linguine Seafood in foil@ RM70. A portion that is filled with mussels, clams, and prawns.
Black Angus Rib Eye @ RM 150 for 220gm. One of my favourite dish of the night. Cook to perfection and it is a pretty good cut. Done to medium rare and dip with chef special sauce.
Tortino, molten chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream is a perfect ending. The chocolate lava just ooze out and the coldness of vanilla ice cream blends very well with the bitterness of the chocolate. @ RM 30 i
Pineapple Fried Rice@ RM13.90 per set (lunch set)
For peeps who works around the area and wanted to have better ambiance without burning a hole for your lunch, hey serve some incredible valued lunch sets from RM13.80 per set, it includes complimentary iced lemon tea, local coffee or tea.
They have these local favourites, from Cantonese Fried Noodles, Penang Fried Kuey Teow, Hokkien Fried Noodles to the Pineapple Fried Rice which we tried that evening.
Walk further behind, you will reach their bar section. Another new discovery of bar in KL.
Envi Skydining’s restaurant section can be booked for private functions such as product launches, press conferences, corporate dinners, weddings, and even grand birthday celebrations. Depending on the layout, the restaurant section alone can seat up to 200 pax.
This is where you will want to be. Just to sit and chill to enjoy the surroundings. A perfect bar for tourist to visit in KL.

One of the latest hype brunch place is this Rise & Shine by Tapestry located in Chow Kit, KL that sits right opposite of Hotel Stripes KL. A place currently well known for its insta worthy brunch place in KL. A place is indeed crazy for long queue over the weekend. If you are here inbetween 9.30am – 3pm, do prepare to queue for at least 60-90 minutes.
alot of sunlight comes up from the natural lighthing from the above. It do get pretty warm if you are seated in that area. But for picture purpose, many are willing.
Believe they partner with 8ounce for their coffee.
When it comes to food, there are hits and misses as alot people say it is over hyped and not worth it. I have different views as there are some items worth to order and some are not.
Alot people are here for one of their well known signature dish – Rise & Shine Egg Drop @ RM 22 . Indeed I would rate this as a must order item. Filled with fluffy soft-scrambled free-range kampong eggs with cheddar, caramelised onions, sriracha aioli on a hot cross bun. We ordered both to try out and thinks that the normal one is suffieicient to hit a satisfaction spot. The Sarsi-glazed beef at Rm 8 does not do much impact on the taste.. – recommended
LINGUINE with battered edamame, seasonal vegetables, tomato stew, served with freshly grated Grana Padano choose to add lamb meatballs. For a simple dish as dish, they have done it well.
As first we were skeptical on this dish as we already ordered most of the item. However most of us are still not full from the first round order and decided to make this FRIED CHICKEN as add on. Lightly-battered fried chicken brushed with honey sriracha glaze and served with a side of fries and fennel salad. turns out to be better than we expected. The glaze is good, fill with mild sweet, souries and bitter taste that suits on the sauce and also fried to perfection. – recommended
A typical breakfast for RISE & SHINE EGGS BENEDICT, on bubble and squeak, poached eggs and bunga kantan hollandaise. you also can choose one of the 3 options below:
1. Beetroot-cured salmon
2. Sarsi-glazed beef bacon
3. Halloumi (v) @ RM 28
The rest of the dish below are all sub par or so so such as:
MEATBALL SUB Lamb meatballs drenched in tomato stew finished with Grana Padano shavings on a sub roll served with onion rings @ RM 28
FRENCH TOAST, with fresh berries, mixed berries compote, Earl Grey gula melaka (v)(s) choose to add Sarsi-glazed beef bacon or ice cream. A dish which is not too bad which I think at this price they could have do much better.
PANCAKES,with mixed berries compote, fresh berries, edible chocolate soil and Earl Grey gula melaka (v)(s) choose to add Sarsi-glazed beef bacon or Halloumi (v) @ RM 25. Pancake is dense and hard. not the fluffy type. Give this a pass if you can.
Love their coffee as we ordered total of 8 different glass as it was a big group of 10 of us for birthday celebration. flavourful Long Black @ RM 10 & Latte @ RM 13. Coffee is pretty good and we all agree to it
Cakes were alright as there were 4 options on that day.
If you are looking for some nice brunch place to try in KL or a nice cafe to chill after 3pm, I overall think this is not too bad. But if to wait for 60-90 minutes for a table I would say it is kinda waste of time.
3 item if you are not sure what to order and I think it is worth to try for first timer are:
Rise & Shine Egg Drop
RISE & SHINE EGGS BENEDICT
FRIED CHICKEN or Linguine
The rest will be depending on your personal taste bud and they might improve along the way.

Looking for a buffet place that serve tons of meat by not brekaing your pocket? I guess BIFE Charcoal Steakhouse that just open at The LINC, KL is a place to sort after. A place that serve fresh quality of steak, other meats and a buffet spread for your hungry tummy with affordable price or cheap HALAL buffet in KL at:
Lunch buffet : 12pm to 3pm at RM39.90
Dinner buffet : 6pm to 10.30 pm, at RM89.90 per person
A place that had officially launched over the weekend with their family members that wish to bring to offer fresh and good meals to everyone
The experience is quite similiar to Brazilian buffet spread. Pick some of the food from the counter, just sit and relax while waiting for fresh meat, seafood to be served to you table.
Meat are prepared fresh, with marination then hit into a slow charcoal pit.
To kick start your meal, you can hit on their daily buffet spread and guess what. The spread here is changed daily to give freshness and variety to diners. A spread that is filled with some butter rice with peanuts, spaghetti aglio olio, onion soup and salads and some local dishes too.
Love their mushroom soup as it is thick and fragrant.
Since there are variety of meats for you to dig in, remember to get some sauces to pair with. each of the sauces have their own uniquness. I quite like all 3 of them as pairs differently with each meat.
end with some local delicacies for desserts.
this is where my main section are, Fresh from the charcoal pit as you will be filled with plenty of meat from the server. Each server will move around the restarurant by bringing different cuts of meat. If there are any meat that you wish to have, you can always request them to bring over. Garlic beef is not to be missed.
Just look at the juicy meat that had been charcoal grill properly. It is fragrant from the marination and perfectly cooked. My personal favourite is their lamb and the beef cut as below – Picanha:
A perfectly coooked beef that is medium rare. Eat it at it is, already pretty good.
Memang tempat yang berbaloi untuk charcoal bbq buffet, penuh dengan pelbagai daging dan seafood untuk kelaparan kamu. Mungkin kah tempat ini buffet murah di KL?
for me it is indeed a place worth to explore for a buffet dinner in KL.

Time of the year to be Spooky as this year celebrating Halloween 2019 at Soul Out Hartamas is kinda interesting, known as The Monster Ball.. On this night, SOULed OUT are summoning all to join its group of beautiful angels, demons to stroll around the outlet.
The cauldron had even brewed up some pretty potent potions. For the grown-ups, my wickedly delicious Monster Ball’s cocktail, the Black Eye Fear @ RM 25 with vodka, cranberry juice, and lime. Bella’s Eyes @ RM 12, a mixture of mango, orange and fresh lemon juice as well as strawberry syrup.
spooky delights the likes of a magic show, face painting, a haunted photobooth, hair-raising SO Gaya dancers, the Spooky Dip challenge and much more, including Best Dressed for both adults and kids, so you’re gonna want to make sure that you come up with the best costume you can!
