Bichii Coffee @ Sungai Buloh

Bichii Coffee is indeed a hidden gem in Sungai Buloh. Tug in out of no where in this industrial architecture is pretty interesting. The owner started it off as a photostudio then now tune a notch up with a cafe as part of it. It is a hidden cafe in KL for this.

The cafe is beautifully decorated with style and alot of corners can be ootd. With only limited space, we have to make reservation for sit in. Best do share to them where you prefer to sit. They have indoor and outdoor. For nice picture, I find that outdoor is more cool, as it is set up with like Camping look and feel at the balcony corner. It is also good that can consider Cafe in Kepong for Kepong folks to drive over.

Coffee here is pretty decently good for a cafe in Sungai Buloh, that you do not have to travel all the way to KL or PJ. They take beans from a few supplier and one of them is Beans Brother. They changed bean every month. So it could be you like the beans today could be different on next visit.

If you are staying in this area and looking for good coffee, I would certainly recommend this coffee place for your cravings. Single origin is pretty good too!

Feeling Plus Cafe @ Damansara

this is one of a cafe in PJ that i snot easy to find. Feeling plus Cafe is located in this building 5th Place in Damansara. It is a refurbish building that certainly give my uni days vibe. Feeling + is one of the latest hype or maybe 3 months ago for this.

It is a small cafe and do prepare to queue. Came here for meeting on weekdays so it is not too bad.

Feeling + menu is very direct. Coffee, toasties and others. That’s all.

Coffee here is pretty good. Not too acidic yet the aroma notes is pretty strong and filled with layers. Coffee is pass. The guy at the counter recommended their signature Twice Fried Chicken Sando @ RM 29. Twice fried chicken with corn and nori slow. pickeled onion, milk bread

Nothing to shout about as could be Japanese style and it is on the high price point

It had been long time that a french toast that caught my attention. Feeling + French Toast @ RM 26. milk Bread, Caramel sauce, banana, blueberries, lemon cream cheese and crush pistachio. If you are here, you can consider order this. The caramel is not too sweet yet goes well with the rest of banana and milk bread. Goes well with coffee.

To come here, look for this building Five Place in Damansara. Over the food is okay la. Food also okay la. Come here for grab and go coffee is pretty recommended.

Can be access via MRT Semantan station, just right next to it.

UNDERWOOD Bakers @ Bukit Bintang, KL

Recently I see alot of influencers featuring this cafe in UNDERWOOD Bakers Restaurant & Coffee in Bukit Bintang. Also, it is not really in Bukit Bintang, actually behind Havana Bar & Grill in Changkat Bukit Bintang. Been a while since I last do Cafe Hopping.

Certainly a cafe that have very nice ambiance. If you do jog around the area and looking for morning coffee, chill area, I am sure this cafe is one of a perfect spot.

Indoor is a touch of chill industrial kind of concept and there are some seating’s behind is filled with natural lighting. They do have more seating’s at level one. Some pastries for you to pick and try

Underwood baker menu

Lets go to food. Usually in a menu, anything with broiche i will certainly order. this is Eggy Brioche Toast @ RM 28. French toast, beef bacon, coffee caramel, berries, crumbs and mascarpone. Oh well, do not think this dish can go wrong. French toast like undercook that make it like pudding texture. Abit eggy taste (could be to suits its menu name). Coffee Caramel is nice but overall flavour is not balance. It is very separated. Then Ice Latte @ RM 14 which is slightly on the high side. I believe they are using Arabica beans as the first sip is heavy burnt taste and single dimension. Cinnamon Danish @ RM 7. Its not fresh and its hard! Then I saw wood fire pizza stove, pizza should be great as its a sourdough pizza series.

Pizza ordered half & half to try out flavours : Truffle Mushroom & Trio Meat @ RM 38
Pizza dough is good as it is done wood fire oven. However the base of truffle mushroom was too salty for me and Trio meat jalapeno is not spread evenly with alot lumps of it.

Overall, a great place for ambiance only. Ambiance 4/5. Food 1/5. One of a new cafe in KL 2022.

Nah nah nah, this is only on my taste bud. Please do not take me as a guideline. please do go try yourself as Google review they got 4.2 star ya. Could be also suitable for those of you have strong palate.

Sipping Corner Cafe by Plant & Pot Studio @ Bandar Puteri, Puchong

this was a random stumble that we were actually looking for a plant. As we walk till the end of the Plant & Pots Studio, we suddenly smell fresh coffee. We followed the trail and found this Sipping Corner Cafe by Plant & Pot Studio in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. More like a hidden cafe in Puchong.

Do not feel lost as the whole shop frontage is indeed selling plants.

Even the cafe also is also decorated with plants too.

They have a few single origins coffee and I found they are all pretty good.

Space here is rather compact and filled with only a few tables. So good luck in getting luck for a table.

Cakes here is really really unique base on the flavour and presentation that they have. I am sure going to come back for their cakes again if I do come to Bandar Puteri again.

Coffee here are pretty decent along with cakes. a nice hidden cafe in PJ that work to visit. Only for coffee and cakes.

Biggest Starbucks Reserve in PJ @ The Tropicana Gardens Mall

Currently there is this big crazy hype on the biggest Starbucks Reserve coffee in Kl. Sorry I mean Starbucks Coffee PJ, that is currently operating in Tropicana Gardens Mall. A new mall in Kota Damansara.

Since they are the biggest Starbucks reserve, of course must order Starbucks Reserve coffee to see what’s the difference.

You can sit at the bench to take nice picture. A nice contract of white marble with a bit of aqua pale green as a back wall. then sit and watch all the coffee process that they are making for other customers. For me it was super full house hence I only manage to find a side table. Enjoy from far lo.

They have 2 different counter. Starbucks Reserve counter or the normal drinks counter.

If you are early enough, sit at the round table with direct sunlight beaming thru the glass before 11am.

indeed this is a comfortable Starbucks place.

Merchandize also got Starbucks Reserve. Sorry la, I dont realy go Starbucks.

My coffee in the making. with nice aroma. We were recommended in 2 different single origin beans. Panama best to have it in hot and Costa Rica best to have it ice.

I love both equally lots as it gives both different after taste aroma. Single origin Panama gives you a bit dark chocolaty end. Single Origin Coasta Rica is mild and subtle.

since here, pattern sikit lo. not much people already.

Good luck for your visitation to this outlet. As currently be prepare to queue to go in. however the queue is not that bad. We were like 10 minutes? Lucky us, but we were here for early coffee at 10.15am. Best cafe in Pj to visit? ambiance and single origin.

Therefore Cafe @ Menara Symphony, PJ

I am sure many of you know this famous Therefore Cafe for their instagramable place in Menara Symphony, PJ. A cafe that have nice pink frontage that captures many of our attention. Yet their food is a local fusion kind of menu that bring it a notch up to your not so usual cafe dining.

My visit to this cafe comes to early this year for a gathering.

My usual will be Latte to kick start.

Tex-Mal nangka nachos, with a local twist, I think this is pretty impressive for me. A dish that I think I would recommend to order as it is topped with tortilla chips with shredded jackfruit. An Asian-style salsa, guacamole, sour cream and cheese sauce @ RM 20

Sistem Buttermilk : @ RM 29 – boneless chicken breast roulade deep fried with seasoned flour batter, served with a creamy curried buttermilk sauce, sweet potato fries and mesclun salad.

And soft shell crab topped with waffle. I think its a dish that try too hard.

Overall, food and price tag okok la. This place do capture a few regular but overall food there are some hit and misses as everyone’s palate is different.
