Bangkok Trip Day 1: Part 1

I have been waiting this trip very suffering because for the past 8 months, I see quite a number of my friends keep check in some where in Thailand especially Bangkok. Seeing them post all the food, places just makes me cross finger and hope for the day to pass faster and it was just a glimpse of eyes that now I am back and my turn to share my trip with all of you.

Of course one taking one of our famous budget airline that allow us to fly cheaply is AirAsia which I bought my ticket 10 months ago during the Zero fair promotion.

Bangkok is known as the capital of Thailand, also famous for its shopping destination, food and nightlife. (more on wikipedia)

As this round I am heading to Bangkok with my very close friend, Nancy, Steven and another 3 more on another different flight as they are flying off directly from Penang.

After 2 hours and 15 minutes of flight, I have landed on new International airport –  Suvarnabhumi Airport at Bangkok which is also told by my friend, they have emerging to become one of main transit hub for Asia which is rated as 3rd busiest airport in Asia.

The airport is filled with modern design and its huge, that if you walk from one end to another end is 1 km long, which I did when I flew back to Malaysia that time and walk around their duty free area. Freaking long!

the airport is just 25 km away from Bangkok city that makes it very convenient with their new express train system which just operated few months back as now with special fare promo till end of OCT they only charge 90 bhat for a single trip which is only RM 9 per way (express ride non stop) direct skip 6 stations and stop at Phetchaburi station.

Then my friend Golf had arrange all the ground arrangement for me which I felt so bad that she is so busy yet help me to arrange all this, and she manage to help me book a superb hotel located in downtown business district, directly infront of BTS Skytrain Chong Nonsi Station is this i-Residence Hotel at Silom District. also 3 stations away from the shopping area Siam station.

i-Residence website: iresidencehotel.com/

It is a boutique hotel that suits alot of businessman as the place is near to alot of international companies and for travellers like us, it is near to alot of main attractions area.

Golf had booked 2 rooms for us, one which is Deluxe Room that comes with a queen size bed.

Very clean, cozy and when I saw the room, I love this hotel.

the room also comes with a comfy sofa, and 32 inch lcd tv.

Toilet is very clean and well kept, sure very nice to baked my cakes in the early morning. :p

Then to head to my room its located at next building that have to access up to 9th floor or ground floor to change lift, their swimming pool is located on the top floor at the rooftop with great view over the city and at night there will be music and bar selling beer then you can continue your swim.

when the lift open, me and my friends were like whoa.. .our place so nice 1 ahh..cant wait to see the room . .

After open the door and we love our room so much!!  modern chic design that its very comfy and air con is powerful! It is a Grand Deluxe Room which is seriously spacious that can host party also.

Even have a side cuishion at the side for you to chill.

Or a working desk area to make it as your office as that we make it as our planing trip area and for our calculation and huge kick ass tv too.

Toilet is good, with long bath, shower head just that the water is not powerfull enough . . . .

and best of all, most of the hotels here are equip with Play Safe ready that you can choose from a few choices available.!
