Bijan Authentic Malay food now deliver to you

It has been a while since I had good authentic Malay food in KL. It was until recently, Bijan a no stranger name to many diners in the city at Changkat Bukit Bintang did a special promotion. Of course, to support local F&B business decided to give it a try again. It turns out to be as good as it is before.

I pick some dishes that I wanted tp start off with. Cucur Bijan @ RM 15 Crisp-fried vegetable fritters of tofu, sweet potato & tempeh matchsticks with bean sprouts & spring onions. Served with Bijan’s homemade peanut & chili sauce. Done into a ball version that gives you crispy inside out. Do ask for additional chili if you are ordering this. Their chili is da bomb! hint of sweetness, sour, very mild spicy is a perfect combination with this starter.

Next, their Rendang Tok @ RM 58 : Traditional slow-cooked caramelised beef in aromatic spices & coconut milk is aas good as it looks. As soon as the cover of the Tupperware opened, the fragrant of the rendang instantly bomb my dining area. The color of the curry is amazing and the meat, is just soft and moist. Not to mention this is huge portion too! Love the mild curry flavour with hint of spices. Love it.

Asparagus Goreng Belacan @ RM 25 Asparagus stir-fried with spicy prawn paste.

Their Masak Lemak Ikan Kurau dengan Pisang Kapas @ RM 58 Threadfin fillets cooked in lightly spiced coconut milk with young banana . is perfect. Fresh huge piece of fish meat that comes in 3 pieces. Hint of kunyit, coconut and chef special ingredient making this a perfect dish to drench your rice into banjir format. not too lemak but just nice.

To end our meal. Complimentary sago.

their Malay food indeed pretty spot in. Add on with the type of ingredients that they are using is quite a notch up. This Chinese New Year 2021 take away menu is available too. Do check out below.
