Instagram really had made friends connected more and I do follow a bunch of hungry goers and whenever they always eat, sure they will insta first. I guess now insta had become a term of it. Nevertheless I came accross Kelly’s Insta when she said she had one of the best ajitsuke tamago, along with comment in this ramen shop is worth trying, can be rated as one of the best Ramen in KL City or within Golden Triangle is this Marutama Ramen.

Since I am in KL and its rainy Sunday yesterday, will make it a pit stop then. Located on 1st floor in Farenheit 88 located this Ramen Shop hidden at the back corner. Manage to find it thru Foursquare (I guess app now pretty usefull).

With traditional Japanese dining ambiance.

I never have enough when comes to ramen add on. Will usually top up.

Price in the menu are pretty decent, not only that, I am keen to try how their chicken broth will taste like. Since most of my favourite came from is with pork bone or pork soup.

They are being generous with the ingredient with unlimited fried garlic. I just took one slice and eat it just like that, crispy and flavourful. Just perfect to be added onto the ramen.

I will as always try on Gyoza (餃子) for RM10. I would say that one of a great quality gyoza that the ingredient that added in is pretty solid, soft meat with hint of ginger soak along chili oild and vinegar base make it nice to bite.

Among in the list, what attracted me the most is this combo Kakuni Tamago, @ RM 27 that have all the ingredient that I want, with ajitsuke tamago, slice pork and pork belly. When this was serve, I look down on this petite bowl and thinking will it ever fill my stomach, then quickly I took my spoon and sip on the soup base as very keen how chicken soup base would taste like. Surpise with the taste, thick and flavorful that I continuesly drinking for a few more sips before I stop.

Ramen is pretty springy in thinner version and it was not over cook.

This is what Kelly meant, and I have to agree with her that its one of the best egg with egg yolk can be ooze out and well season. Every bite is soft and I don mind to order 2-3 more for this. Its a must have in your ramen if you do come here.

I am surprise to dine ramen with such great soup base especially with Chicken Soup base. A soup base that had been boil for hours to make it thick and nice. As good as what others say. I surely dont mind to come back again to dine another round.

Finally, after so many miss out of their previous 3 Where’s the party event and I manage to go on their secret party place this round. As usual, we werent inform where will be the secret place be and all we have to do is follow on their mailer pack, prepare what is given in the details 2 days before the event, head to their assign destination then hop onto their bus without knowing where we are heading. What is actually Carlsberg Where’s the Party about 2012? As The journey begin, then only announce that we are heading to Penang as the main destination. The actual location is still unknown till we arrive. Wheeee~

On the way up north, we are all taken care off in the media bus with lunch box being provided.

After 6 hours of journey up north as that weekend it was a long weeknd and many cars were on highway. Registration area for all is located at Queensbay Shopping Mall Car park.

Best part of all, our media bus which is 4 busses from KL went all the way up and right after registration, we have police escort us to make way.. Whee.. really feel #likeaboss or likealousai~ kekek

This is the first time I felt so VIP that we arrive in style and warm welcome by all the pretty chicks.

Proceed with registration as we are all house in Bayview Beach Resort then only found out that the actual event location is at Hard Rock Hotel, Penang which is located next to it. . .

Its been so long since I last came to this place as often brought by my dad to this area when I was a kid.

I have this huge room by myself that can easily fit 4. Huge King size bed and facilities are pretty okay. As I get change and change to my attire, quickly heading to Hard Rock to check out the event space.

Before that, we head to Press conference first.

Some of my friends are at the scene as early as 4pm and already sipping Carlsberg all the way.

Heading down to the main arena as i am already getting excited to see their main entrance and staging that are in place. Decked with a massive LED paneled stage, the central zone was outlined with a flow of streaking, spinning colours and a dance ‘cage’ in the middle of it all.

With many bar counter setting up around the area, is the sign of getting the party started.

Setting up a pavilion in the middle where party goers can sit on the bean bag and one thing I like the most is their little stoll that glow or lited up n green.

As time pass by then here comes the grand opening with Soren Ravn, jet-skiing into the party zone; the grand entrance made for a great kick-off introduction, followed by a beat boxing battle between Shawn Lee and the charming MD himself aka Star Rapper.

Indeed it was one of the beach party that I have attended so far for the year and also being first time at Carlsberg Where’s the Party its sure a blast for me with best friends being there to party and drink, all I could say its a crazy night for us bloggers and definitely looking forward for Where’s the Party 2013.

Rip Curl .First time taking transportation up to Terengganu is not a pleasent journey, only discover that Terengganu is a bit far off from my usual distance that I travel back to my hometown Penang. A journey of 8 hours had paid of with my first time experience in surfing competition event held in Malaysia.

Lets enjoy the flow of what’s happening up there over last weekend. .

Before heading to the beach and competition area, we are all house in Sumai Hotel & Apartment .. .

Its a huge apartment that share with 8 of us with 4 bed rooms and huge dining and living room area.

TV here is just for display and apparently only got single channel TV1 only which is blurry  Astro book is there and we thought there is gonna have Astro channel. Well, its just for display only. One good thing about this unit is they provide free wifi.

Nice clean shared toilet. .

huge kitchen space and doesnt comes with a stove. Basic tea and coffee are provided. Service of the housekeeping is pretty efficient and friendly and they do daily housekeeping too. Thanks to them for keeping the house clean.

Some of the girls ended up with sandals and baby – t from Rip Curl. Me also end up with a surf pants, t-shirt and slipper. 😀

How can such event without music and they have a cool DJ deck area and all the songs playing throughout the day is grooving. Early morning already we are loving the music played.

For first day, its pretty gloomy weather that created a nice wave for all the surfers to do their stunt and action. With about 2-4 feet high wave is just perfect for them to do it.

Along the 3 days, we had alot of Fanta from Grapes, Orange and Strawberry and still my personal favourite is Grapes. Been a long while since I last had this as they had change their packaging and used to be one of my favourite drink when I was a kid. 😀

Quite long didnt see Shannon in action and its good to see her back in blogging world.

Jeng Jeng jeng, not only pros get to surf, we are all enroll in the Surf Clinic that conduct by Professional surfer, Jonny which is also owns a surfing school in Malaysia.

All excited and just cant wait to change and get ourself wet.

All of us got change and gear up for our very first experience in surfing.

Johnny explain detaily what are the challenges we are going to face and what are the safety precautions to ensure we are not drown or injured.

As you see the pro’s doing their surfing it looks easy with a basic clinic like that and warm up ourself before heading to the sea, seems like a challenge already. The biggest challenge is this:

Standing up on the board is the biggest challenge as you need to balance then within seconds to hop up to surf along with the wave.

Now we are all gear up ready to surf.

On our experience surfing, its definately not easy by drinking alot of sea water with strong wave hitting you, first is to balance yourself on the board then second challenge is to make yourself stand up. We ended going more than 3 session as each session is an hour long. Loving the experience. Thanks to Johnny and his crew for being so helpful in assisting us and advise us on our first time experience. Its a fun learning challenge.

As it head to the afternoon, more and more people are flocking the place to catch surfers in action.

With heat 1 going on till finalist.

End our first 2 days watching those surfers in action and we are amaze how they can ride along. We wish too.

As the eve of the final event, we were hosted with a Gala dinner starting off with cultural performance follow by Terengganu artist to entertain for the night.

Its a wet day on final day and with Men’s open are all swipe clean by Indonesians.  They are just bless with the wave that they get to enjoy and of course, congrats to all of them and our Malaysians surfers, Brenda for making it to top 4.

I guess more and more people are into coffee business now. Its a picking up trend that Malaysia have lots of coffee lover. How many do you have your favorite morning coffee besides Nescafe? I am sure that now we can spoilt with choices when comes to coffee and I have found one of my favourite hang out join which I am not going to blog about it.

Lonbay coffee is actually operated by young entrepreneur that he have the passion of coffee and looking for something that can suits local taste bud. Originate from Johor and now bringing up to KL to share with other coffee lover. Beans are roasted in his yard in Johor and its organic. . .

Siphon brewing method that have a special coffee that takes about 2 days to for the process and make about 8 bottles per time.

coffee price is not that bad along with light food.

Coffee Luwak is something new to me yet I have heard it many many times from coffee lovers and friends. Its a love and hate relationship like durian according to them. It doesnt come cheap yet its good to try once.

Tadaa. . .here is our version of coffee luwak. Light in body and slightly bitter after taste.

This is what attracts me, makes me feel they really do heavy research on their coffee line in Spiderman movie. My attention have all move to this little tubes.

Honey Lemon with Coffee Enzyme is one of the way to pair it and it had turn into our favourite. Sourish end that pairs well with lemon and honey that gives a slight hint of sweetness. If you have not tried this before, its a great glass or drink to have before or after meal. Highly Recommended!

The LonBay Iced Drip is the one that settle at the counter with the huge siphon process that can be served in two ways, warm or chilled. Another type of coffee that is light in taste, not too strong and mild after taste.

One thing if you would love to try out is their Enzyme coffee. and I sure do not mind to come here to have enzyme coffee honey lemon with their spaghetti that easily beats many places in their flavor and a slice of cheese cake to close the meal here. Pretty good~
