Famous Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream @ Jalan Alor, KL

I am sure many of you are familiar with this brand Sangkaya, hail all the way from Kuala Lumpur which is our proud local made products. Original plan started off to be toast and kaya product that had made them ended up with Thai Coconut Ice cream. Started off with a mini stall at this famous street Jalan Alor in year November 2014, along with a huge buzz from local media and bloggers for this famous Thai inspired street coconut ice cream had made its mark to many foodie that is one of a top dessert to hunt for. This is their new cafe ice cream concept that offering some new desserts and coffee..

This is their classic menu with range from their Signature @ RM 10.50 with 4 scoop of ice-cream where most of us is having, along with Cup 3 scoop @ RM 7.30 and cone @ RM 3.10.

My usual is The Signature @ RM 10.50 that we get to diy our own 3 toppings. Usually I have their coconut ice cream as this round, I choose 2 of their new flavours which is Cha Yen and the other flavor is

Here you go on some of their new upcoming products, with Caramel Pudding with 2 flavour ice cream of your choice.

Waffle at RM 7.20 would be my choice as I find the belgium waffle to my liking, slightly crust on the outside and inside it is soft. Certainly pairs well with their signature coconut Ice cream and dress with their home made gula Melaka.

Another two things which is new to me, one pair as below their new SangCoffee which is long black with infuse coconut and SangLatte also infuse with coconut milk. Totally prefer their Sang Black as love the strong coffee taste and a hint of refreshing coconut taste at the end. Certainly a more unique cup of coffee compare to other cafe. Found out that its a local blend coffee beans.

Another product that is new to me is this Sangkaya Cendol @ RM 10.50. Serve with their signature coconut ice cream, topped with grass jelly, corn, peanuts, Gula Melaka and coconut Flesh. (They do not have red bean in their version)

Other than their Signature Coconut Ice Cream which is the crowd favorite, you should try out their Coffee and waffle. No doubt, this Famous Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream had attracted many foodie from local and internationally.

Food rating 8/10 ,love both their coffee and signature ice cream. Recommended! -Stamped-
