Ipoh Chicken Rice at Kar Heong Restaurant @ SS14

I was introduce to this place by a friend of mine that this is one of their favourite place for Ipoh Chicken Rice known as Kar Heong Restaurant that located in SS14, Subang. Apparently they are a well known Ipoh Chicken Rice shop in SS14 as they had gain many followers over the years.

Parking is not that bad over the weekend as the shop is double frontage. You can access from the front or back.

So we ordered the usual. Steam white chicken, roast pork @ RM 8 (as it looks good on that day), Prawn Koay Teow wantan noodle soup @ RM 7.50 and a plate of veggie.

Their chili is good. Sourish enough that give you a slight punch of heat. Goes well with their chicken rice.

Roast pork is slightly above my expectation as the crust is crispy, salty enough to my liking and the fat are evenly spread out.

Kitchen Choice 2 pax chicken @ RM 12. Chicken is tender and juicy. I usually will use the soy sauce to drench on my plate. Love the slight aroma with the sesame and chicken oil.

Koey Teow is just as usual.

This place is not too bad if you are looking for a decent Ipoh chicken rice. I think it is worth to pay a visit at least once.
