Little did I know that Thai food in Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang is quite limited in choices. PIM’s Thai Food – Pimlicious seafood cafe and restaurant is one of the latest addition of eatery to offer another choices for diners at Bukit Tinggi 2 that slowly gaining its popularity in this neighborhood.

The restaurant interior is contemporary with an infusion of cafe and rustic. I just love their ceiling trek lights.

We Kick start off with their Signature Seafood Pot – Pim’s Super Seafood Tomyum Pot (3-5pax) @ RM 158 – filled with crayfish, Fresh Tiger Prawns, Prawns, Hokkaido Squid, Onsen Duck Egg, Mushrooms, Fishballs, Scallops, Thai Instant noodle topped with 2 fresh eggs and Pim’s Tom Yum Kung. Serve along with a mini bowl of thai roast pork.

There are 3 sizes in total – with 1-3 pax @ RM 98 &  6-8 pax @ RM 288

When the pot is served, it is indeed quite a big pot even with a portion of 1-3 pax. Best advise to eat with 3 pax. Love the soup base which is typical suitable to our taste bud as it is strong in flavour, creamy soup base with sourish and spicy end. Best of all if you finish your soup from your noodle pot, you can request another freshly cook tomyum soup to add on or to drink.

It caught me by surprise when mention Thai version of Salted Egg fish and Pa Meng Pad Kai Meng  (Stir Fried Squid in Salted Egg) @ RM 22.50 turns out to be good. You can taste the little hint of salted egg yolk at the end with a bit of sandy texture too. Love the gravy as it is slightly creamy, tomato chili spicy with fresh squid in balance taste.

If you love some bites to start off with, then Tod Man Gong (Signature Fried Donut Prawns) @ RM 18.90. Mince with generous ingredients that fried into a ring. Do dip with their Thai Chili sauce to get enhancement of flavor.

Kong Tod Ka Tiam (Deep Fried Crayfish with Garlic) @ RM 39

Gong Ga Bang ( Thai Prawn Pancake) @ RM 18.90. Perfectly fried to its crips, with mixed fish and prawn paste are covered in between. Eat while it is hot. Will be a great pairing with Singha.

Moo Kob (Chef Thai Roast Pork) @ RM 21.90. Their Thai Roast Pork is quite different from ours, as the Thai version is more like a deep fried pieces then cut into slices after it. To Thai’s they certainly love it as it taste like their street food version and for our taste bud, we might not like it. It really depends on your acceptance level. I do not mind to have more to soak in their Tomyum soup.

This Pad Thai Noodles @ RM 18.90 would be one of my recommended dish in the list as it is hard to find this dish that come to my liking. Love the wok hei taste and also their version is slightly moist. This is like our Chinese Fried Koey Teow and Koey Teow Basah in comparision. Mix all the condiments together to get a balance taste of peanut fragrant, little sweetness from sugar and spiciness from chili flakes.

Kung Lai Ser (Tiger Prawns Pad Thai Noodle) @ RM 26.90

After you enjoy all the spicy food, Coconut Jelly certainly one of the best options to end the meal with. So soft and bouncy that it breaks easily yet very refreshing. @ RM 7.90

Great to see one of my good friend from uni and have not met this guy since we left which is 10 years ago. Congratulations to you on your first business expansion and choosing Malaysia as your first F&B venture.

Now Klang folks can enjoy good tomyum soup here.
