The Pokok Bar & Cafe is another latest addition of bars at the backpackers zone at Chulia Street. Already this area is pack with backpackers aiming for cheap alcohol, this place offer bigger space with unplugged music which make it a great spot to chill.
It was raining on that day, therefore could not see the crowd, where was told that usually it is full house. A great vibe that gives you the feel like you are visiting one of oversea island hoping that the crowd is a good mix of travelers and locals.

Price in this bar is very decent and affordable where you can see A glass of Tiger Draught is only RM 10, Heineken and Guninness at RM 13
Upstairs seatings in The Pokok Bar are more comfy where you can get some lazy and swing chair. Another section which I find it rather interesting is their VIP room that sits right in the middle of the bar as you can see below. Believe that you can host your private party overhere too.
Then they have this high giant bench for you to chill at the side which I find it pretty cool. Would not mind to drop by here for warm up session before hit onto the club.
