Restaurant Cawan @ Kota Damansara

Since started working around the area, I have become one of a regular customer for this malay nasi campur shop in Kota Damansara known as Restaurant Cawan. They offer variety of dishes ranging from classic malay dish with veggie and sambal to curries, soups and others.

During lunch time, here is jam pack with all the factories people around and alot usually make a take away. Their choices of dishes are 80% the same most of the time with 20% changes daily.

If these nasi campur dishes does not suits your palate for the day, you can always ask for their ala cart menu as they also do offer variety of fried stuff, from noodles, to fried rice and others.

As what you take from the area, just sit and start eating as there will be two lady roaming around to stop by and write on the total amount of payment you need to make at the counter by giving you a small card receipt.

This Sop Meletop is also one of my favourite as even the taste varies from time to time, it is still a pretty decent classic bowl of noodle where I love the soup is pack with flavour and spices, dark greyish colour and best of all is their special home made chili that will make you meletop.

For a bowl of RM 5, I could not have much complain as it is a pretty decent bowl already. Always prefer their yellow noodle as I think it is the classic style of sop meletop. I added two of the special black chili into my soup and squeeze lime in it. It is just damm awesome as you will drench in sweat.

Their ala cart menu, you can just close one eye as it range from RM 4.50 – RM 10 as depending what you order. At night, they also convert their shop into steamboat. HAve yet check them out on this. Their Nasi Campur price ranges from RM 3 – RM 20. Depending on your choices of dish and also depending which lady calculate it.

I am pretty satisfy for a decent malay nasi campur that is near my office. Should do give it a try too or if you have other places of good malay food, do share with me too.
