Restaurant Peng Heong Hakka Paikut @ Klang

Nowdays a lot of people head to Klang to hunt for food, journey there is not that short yet not that long, usually have to make the best out of it would be the mini food hunting scene. One of the friend that brought us all the way here from KL to hunt for this restaurant which is famous for its signature Pork Ribs that had been selling for the past 16 years. Now, Restaurant Peng Heong Hakka Paikut had make its own name in the area which attracts people from near and far.

It is not that crowded as we were there early, around 11.30 and usually do expect full house.

Menu that introduce array of hakka dish.

This is the man behind the success of the restaurant. The boss cum chef himself which is very friendly and when he saw all of us with camera, he allow us to take picture of him and also mention that alot of bloggers went to his shop too.

The boss with his signature pipping hot Pork Ribs. I can smell the nicely fried smell from my angle.

Rice is very fragrant by using pandan leaves and using charcoal to cook it.

With some of the dish available for you to choose from at the stall itself if you cant get the idea of what to order from the menu.

‘Claypot Chicken Curry’  is thick in gravy, a bit spicy yet not too much of coconut milk added in, eating it with the rice is just a perfect combination. RM6 (small portion)

‘Assam Fish’ Sour and spicy in taste with Kembung fish to cook along, meat is quite soft and I thought if add my favorite fish ‘sting ray’ in it would be even better.

‘Fried Pork Balls’ RM1 each Freshly prepared, with lots of mince meat turn into round balls with their own added on taste, dip with chili sauce is the way to go along.

‘Hakka Pai Kuat Wong – Pork Ribs’ – SIGNATURE DISH

Among all the food you can skip but not this perfect ribs that had been marinate, grilled to perfection, soft, tender and juicy. I sure do not mind having this whole plate by myself. RM8, RM10 and RM20

‘Stir Fried Veggie’

Vinegar Pork Trotters @ RM9

‘Pak Cham Kai’

This cup of ‘Barley Drink’ turns out to be one of my favourite too. Love the thick taste of the barly, not too sweet yet it is quite refreshing. If add a bit of lime would be perfect!

alot of people would do a take away from the restaurant with only their Hakka Pai Kuat Rice with sweet thick sauce added in.
