Restoran Links 龍肉骨茶 Bak Kut Teh @ Kawasan 18, Klang

One random weekend, my friend called to wake me up. He said lets go to Klang as he found legendary Bak Kut Teh Shop currently rank top spot in his list. Restoran Links 龍肉骨茶 at Kawasan 18, Klang is one of a hidden gem in Klang area for classic Klang Bak Kut Teh.

Along the years, I learnt that Klang famous bak kut teh is all in this small portion with no refill of soup available. Even if they do, they will give you those kind of cockstare that you are not bak kut teh kaki.

Restaurant Links is famous among this neighborhood and sort of they have their usual diners that you will see them most of the time.

When I walk to the uncle’s prep counter, looking at the soup already cant wait to dig in. Look at the colour, the texture of pork and the thickness of the soup texture. It just amazing and also the smell of the herbal soup!

We arrive at 9.30am and my friend said we were lucky as most of the famous pig part is still available. If you want to get those big bones, soft meat have to reach before 10am as usually those part are sold out by then. Left is those thick meat and others.

The  meat is so soft that the knife is just a touch to cut it through without strength.

this shop is very clean and neat.

Look at this board. I love how they give them self their nickname. Battery Rosak is the best .

This is our order. Soft meat and look at the layer of fats stick to the bottom bone. Soft, well cook, nearly melt in your mouth.

Bak kut teh without pig intestine will not be perfect for me. Look at the layers and layers of it. Chewy to my liking and I can have this whole bowl myself.

One of their signature is Pork Big Bone. The meat just fell off just like that and the balance of fats and lean meat is just pefect! Loving it.

Each of these bowl is RM 12 each. So price is still very decent and not too expensive. Soup is amazingly fragant, pack with little more punch of herbal base to my liking that actually not too strong, gives you a hint of nice herbal taste at the end of your sip. Soup in with pork is more pungent than just you order soup itself.

Do note that the soup here are not refillable. If it does, is one little small bowl and that is it!

Every one have their own personal liking of their favourite bak kut teh. I was introduce to another bak kut teh shop which shall hunt next, that operated more than 50 years.

If you are in Klang, Do give it a try.
