Sanoook Thai & Jap @ Sunway Pyramid Hotel West

If you hang around Sunway Pyramid long enough, then you will realise actually Sunway Pyramind wing 3 just opens its door to public where is  another new block of Sunway Hotel located. Under this wing, is house with many F&B where Sanoook Thai & Jap operates right at the front entrance.

Sanoook Thai & Jap is actually a new concept by Charki Palace.

This menu card is interesting where, after open the menu, you will need to hold a few cards inside it as they are introducing new items from the menu. When you are ready, ordering can be ordered via Ipad.

 

 

Starting off with Pan Fried Tuna Steak with Spinach & Mixed Mushroom Served with Teriyaki Sauce @ RM 29. With a little bit twist in flavour with local thai sauce top with fresh tuna steak, the combination turns out to be good. 

Tom Yum Soup with River Prawn @ RM 24. When in a fusion Thai restaurant, tomyum soup is  always one of a item to hunt for. Soup is spicy and sour enough. 

Vegetable Skewer (Tomato, Corn, Zucchini, Capsicum and Leek) with Sanoook Sauce(4sticks) @ RM28.90
The gravy is very interesting, as i keep digging in. Creamy texture that was spread ontop, gives you little hint of spiciness and spice to balance up. ORder with beer would be a great combination.

Chicken Skewers with Massaman Sauce is a very straight forward dish.

 

Pan Fried Tuna Steak with Spinach & mixed Mushroom served with Teriyaki Sauce

Chicken Burger with Teriyaki Sauce @ RM 17.90
Bored with your typical burger style, then they have come out with the Japanese version. Instead of using burger bread, they have used sushi rice to compress it to make a bun size.

Tuna with Tom Yum Sauce @ RM 28 and Soft Shell Crab with Thai Mango Chili Sauce @ RM35 is the one that stood out more. Hint of spiciness is there, yet filled with mango sweetness is just nice.

Thai Volcano @ RM 16.90 Thai Volcano – flour cake, milk tea, pearl and sago. Quite a big bowl and it is advise to share with your friend. 

Durian fever is still out there, therefore Sanoook also do have their own Fresh Durian Ice Cream with Coconut Milk & Sago RM 22
