Street Churros @ 1-Utama

Street Churros started in Korea where we’re crazy about our street food. The crispy, sweet crunch of the churro. The mouthwatering flavor of a great hotdog. The magical combination of salty and sweet. Our mission is to elevate street food with premium, fresh ingredients and the culinary genius of our 5 ­star chefs. Always hand crafted and made-­to-­order, we’ve taken a traditional Spanish churro recipe and given it an audacious flair all our own. Only recently launch at 1-Utama where it is their second new home for this street food, is making waves to hungry snacks hunters out there for more easy access.

Impress with their outlet interior for such a small outlet. Indeed a Korean style eatery.

Menu is very straight forward as In Malaysia, the café specialists in three types of churros, the Original Churros is prepared in a horseshoe-shaped pastry with cinnamon, chocolate or grain @ RM 4.90.

Saw them make a new batch 0f dough and insert it into the cylinder. Quite interesting.

After you place an order, the dough will be pulled out from the cylinder into a longish horseshoe shake then leave it to fried in hot oil.

 

After fried will then put into the tray to add on flavours.

“Filling-Chu”, is the version where they add in filling. Crunchy on the inside, with a soft and gooey center filled with a choice of Chocolate, Cream Cheese or Blueberry, From the classic to the unique version, I am opting for Filling-Chu and cream cheese win it all . RM 7.90 each.

Love their Green Tea Matcha latte too. If you like matcha, this would be recommended if you like strong flavour.

For their classic, I would choose their cheese over their classic Cinnamon, add on cream cheese as it seems do not work for me. Go for their Filling Chu version.

Chocolate, Cream Cheese, Strawberry and Blueberry, at an additional RM1.50 each.

The next day colleague bought me Filling Chu with cheese filling. Like this  more as the filling do give a good taste of flavour.
