One of the most Famous G-Shock Series for year 2020 is this model Ga-2100-1A1 Black watch. Because of it’s look, it had become one of the most sort after G-shock series for this year. Even though it is launch October 2019, instantly had been a big hit and this unit retail at RM 499.

Suddenly a few friend text me. Hey Bok, you got this series. G-Shock x One Piece Limited edition, 2,000 pieces world wide only is the most anticipated series at the moment. One-Piece is the best selling manga of all time and have created a huge fan base in the world including me.

This is the DW-6900. Just look at the casing itself. Like a treasure box.

Pun Chun Wan Tan Mee @ Bidor, Perak

If you driving North South Highway Penang – KL bound, then you may want to consider drop by at Bidor for quick eat. Instead like Ipoh, you have to drive in about 15-20 minutes away to get your favourite food, Bidor eatery is just 5 mins away from the toll. Pun Chun Wan Tan Mee regard as one of the best wan tan mee in Bidor town., Perak

Upon you walk into the shop, you will see this local pastries on the shelf.

I am curious for a small town like this, what will be their local income like. A plate of noodle quite similiar to KL pricing.

Their charsiew is different from KL and Penang. It is like in between for me.

By the look of egg tart, it does not look tempting. True enough it is “mehhhh. ”

Pun Chun’s Classic Wanton Noodles is the signature of the shop. More like a bamboo noodle version.

The meal again after we eat from another shop.

More interesting is they have this herbal duck soup is also their signature. The taste of herbal duck meat soup or Duck Soup Noodle @ RM 9 is actually quite similiar to Penang mee sua Duck meat soup. Herbal”ish taste. Not too strong as the one like Penang but good enough. Personally thought that mix with wan tan noodle is a bit weird.

Duck Meat Noodle dry @ RM 11 is their shop signature. Noodle texture is slightly fatter, not chewy as more towards the soft side. Not too sure is it over cooked? Their soy dark sauce is slightly more compare to the one in Penang. It looks dark but not as salty as what we thought. It is not too bad.

Duck meat is more in this dry duck meat wan ton noodle. That’s why slightly more expensive.

Overall, I personally think that the first shop, Restaurant Mee Wah is nicer than Pun Chun Restaurant. As my friend say, in Bidor this is the commercial version where most other interstate travelers will drop by and another shop is more for locals. Again, it really depends on your personal taste bud as both also have its own crowd. Is this the only famous street food in Bidor, or there are others? Do share with me.

Culfishery Deliver Fresh Seafood to your doorstep

Over MCO or currently CMCO in Malaysia, there are variety of demand in them market. Looking at the statistic itself it is quite fascinating. What I learn among my friends is fresh seafood is one of a high demand segment. Then found this in FB. Chong U Long or known as Culfishery Deliver Fresh Seafood to our door step. Did this with Hai di Lao Mala Xiang Guo Sauce ( 海底捞麻辣香锅火锅底料 ), or stir fry mala dry pot.

Here you go on the seafood that I got. Quite impress with it. Getting seafood online is like a new norm but the quality and freshness of it is there. My white prawns with body and head is all pretty good and solid meat. Clam meat is good too. Best of all is the fish meat. Just like what you got from the market.

I am also impress with how it is deliver and well pack. Order on Friday came on Saturday in a normal foam box. Pack in a large plastic bag to prevent from the seafood water leaking.

All seafood comes in a vacumm sealed pack. I got 2 x Salmon fish head for curry dishes.

A threadfin fish to be steamed, clams, prawns all for my spicy fried mala dish later on the night.

Squid ring is pretty huge.

The white prawn size is at least M and above.

This is what I mean. Look at the fish meat. SO fresh and the skin of the fish is just still perfect.

The clams meat as I soak it with salt water for 30 minutes before cooking.

My menu for the night, with the fresh clams and prawns that I got, cooking it with Hai di lao Spicy Stir Stir Fry Sauce (海底捞麻辣香锅调味料)

Result. simple fresh and good for the seafood that I got. If you are in for spicy, put in 2 pack. If beginner, start of with 1 pack of sauce.

Realme 3 Pro Review

This is way an old post as end of last year when I got this Realme 3 Pro phone, many of you asked me to quickly blogged about my review experience on this. This is a NON-PAID post as I purchase this phone for my work purpose.

This would be just a simple review on my own experience on this phone.

I was looking for a new second phone for work purpose and saw this Realme brand which seems not too bad. My budget was not huge. Trying to get a decent phone below RM 1,000 and shortlisted a few as below during 11.11 2019:

Realme 5 pro – RM 999
Realme 3 pro – RM 899
Oppo F11 Pro – RM 899
Huawei Nova 7i – RM 1,099

After watching some reviews and talk to @clevermunkey about it, he mention just get Realme 3 pro as that time were having promotion during 11.11. I got my phone for RM 599 instead of RM 899. So it was quite a steal at that period.

The phone got release in 2019 May and it seems that Realme launch a phone quite often, in a timeframe of 6-9 months per same model series. Currently already Realme 6 Pro for latest launch. Read here.

1 love the size of the phone as it does not feel solid and for RM 599 phone, it is indeed a through bargain. Better grip, feel solid, yet thin enough.

My summary of performance of the phone realme 3 review.

Battery is very long lasting, as I did test it out just without using it – can last about 7 days with 4g status on.
My normal usage for work – last me about 1 full day
currently is my gaming phone – as I played PUBG using it and for 100% charges – will last me 5-6 hours continuous gaming.
Fast performance of phone as I have been using since 20th November 2019 till now, not lagging nor auto restart.

Bidor Famous Wan Tan Mee @ Restaurant Mee Wah

Last year I was introduce by my friend, as on the way back to KL from Penang, he suggested that we should stop by at his favourite breakfast place. I say, lets do it. Then he turn into Bidor exit. I was like here? Then heading to this Famous Wan Tan Mee at Restaurant Mee Wah in Bidor, which is just about 5-7 minutes drive away from the toll exit.

A place that is pack with locals. Most of the outstation people do go to another shop – Pun Chun Wan Tan Mee, which I shall blog in another post.

A random pick from a store next to the wan tan mee is this Yong Tau foo. nothing to shout about as the soup is quite simple and clear. The ingredient are freshly fried.

I was told by my friend This famous wan tan mee in this small Bidor Town, Perak had easily been 30 yeas. Currently is helm by second generation.

Indeed the taste of wan tan mee here is different from the one in Penang and KL. The taste is really like in between. I do find it quite interesting. Light fragrant soy, sesame and a bit of sweet end.

No doubt that the highlight will be the wan tan noodle it self. Springy and cook to perfection.

Wan tan is also quite generous. Is about 4 pcs But the price tag at RM 5, for a small town (if I remember correctly) is actually quite expensive. I thought it would be and RM 3.50 – RM 4.50. I am not too sure the living standard here but it could be the standard pricing for this town.

Order Sui Kow as additional. I think the sui kao is better.

I am not sure. Could this be one of the best wan tan mee in bidor? My friend shared that this is his favourite. If you guys do have your favourite place better than this. Do share. Will go hunt next.
