Bandits Coffee Bar @ Bukit Damansara, KL

When I first heard Bandit, which is a pretty cool name and in my thought what kind of cafe will that be? Will it be a crime free, zone that we are able to do anything? Oh well, till only my friend mention that they have great coffee and variety of pastry selection.

The place would not make you an outlaw but a hunter for its pretty stuff that they are offering.Upon entering, its a pretty cool kind of cafe that hidden in Bukit Damansara and at the counter is where they place all their beautiful finger licking good pastries.

Menu is pretty straight forward and did read some good feedback about it especially on their pastries.

Love how they use malay language in the menu for the swap of meat.

My friend is pretty much like a coffee expert and she said the best coffee and to test them out is by their espresso. There is where you can taste all the character. This session is pretty interesting to me as she taught me alot of tips and could not deny that Bandit coffee beans and flavour is definitely unique! Got to know that they use Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, as the aroma is slightly floral, blueberry and honey body. (this is whole new  level for me), in the process I did pick up the taste of fruity and floral end.

Next try on their healthy breakfast as this would be first time I am trying such item. Quinoa with Beet root, feta cheese  & Pumpkin @ RM 15. Love the simple taste of fruit sweetness, slightly airy yet mild crunchy end from the mixture of fruits and fragrant end of cheese.

In the menu, Coconut, Cinnamon and Banana French Toast caught my attention. @ RM 14

Done up pretty good as its caramelise, not too sweet and just nice to pair with their coffee.

To end it, I try their signature brownie with marshmallow. Do not really like the texture of it and find it not very interesting. however this is their best seller and I believe sure there are others will like it.

To end it, after I taste on the espresso that did really bring up my taste bud and expecation with my latte next to it, it did turn us down as the barista did my drink is too milky. When the owner did my latte and serve again, I am impress as the flavour of fruity and floral could be tested. This is what many coffee hunters mean when different barista will do different flavour even though is the same machine and beans. Oh well, I totally enjoy my coffee here as they do stand out alot compare to others.

For food wise, it is up for you to judge.
