It seems that Penang street food is slowly crawling down to KL. One of the latest discovery is this 7 Village Noodle House Penang Koey Teow Soup at SS2 that is quite famous at Bukit Mertajam, which is just operating next to Maybank SS2.
A family recipe that started all the way back since 1956.
They have some other noodle types and usual toast breakfast available for you.
Ordered their signature Loh Bak, which is awesomely good, love the 5 spices fragrant which is not too overpowering and mini stripes of meat that being chop nicely. Quite expensive though.
The famous Koey Teow Soup which I always love my noodle Koey Teow and mee mix. Look at the broth, which is not too clear and broth is pack with flavours. Quite the same taste as the one I ate at Bukit Mertajam. NO complain at all. Fish ball is just as I like. Smooth, chewy and springy.
The best part is their home made sambal. This is good! If you take alot you will drench in sweat and you need more water. Spicy enjoy to keep you dipping.
