Feeka Coffee Roasters @ Jalan Mesui, KL

Overlast weekend, it seems like a pretty laid back Sunday for me then we arrange to meet up with Eunice for brunch over some coffee hunting too as it had been quite a while since last seen her. Pretty busy with her own stuff and it seems that she is getting more well known in blog and Instagram for her concept photoshoot since she got her new DSLR.

Based on her suggestions and nearer to her, we all came to Feeka Coffee Roasters which is also open by my friend or  she is the owner who owns Food Foundry and Butter & Beans. This is one of their latest outlet in their portfolio.

Located down in busy street in KL especially night life here is amazing, as they are located in Jalan Mesui which is only 2 corner away from Changkat Bukit Bintang, or right next to Palate Palate.

We reach here rather early, about 9am as they are still setting up the shop. Pastry here looks not bad. . .

Manage to talk to the barista on asking where does the beans come from and he proudly presents that the beans are from local roasters. I am impress as I know Malaysia have alot of nice local beans.

Menu here are pretty straight forward as the price of it is slightly on more expensive, maybe because of the locations they are in too.

Started off mine with Mocha as the coffee is well presented that instantly capture our attention. The colour of it looks perfect and wonder how it taste like. It caught us unexpected as it taste pretty good that the chocolate that they choose blends well with the coffee taste. A bit sweet and settle smoothly with the coffee taste on a bitter aromatic end.

Eunice is a coffee lover so she go for Espresso @ RM 7 to try the aroma of it. For a local beans, its pretty good. Not too strong in taste yet aromatic and my prefer type of coffee.

Since the other 2 glass had pass our taste bud, I need not to elaborate much on Latte @ RM 10

For healthy breakfast we start off with Yogurt Parfait in Glass @ RM 12. Filled with Greek Yogurt, cranberry, mulberry, fresh melon, flax seed and quinoa. I am a big fan of yogurt and certainly this is one of a healty option. Good stuff if you love yogurt!

Feeka Omelette @ RM 16 filled with mild cheddar, cauliflower, and sauteed mix mushroom with homemade tomato jam.

On the other side, I find Feeka Big Breakfast that price at RM 20 is over price with the items that they are serving or because of their food presentation that makes it like a breakfast that I got in Kopitiam at RM8  or can be easily cook at home.

Brioche French Toast @ RM 16, serve with spiced pineapple in orange sauce topped with Chantilly cream. Cleaver play from them by using different types of bread which is not bad. Find that the sauce that they are using cant really suit every ones palate as the guy that sit next table to me did not finish it as can see from his expression, he find it weird. Only me finish the remaining as the other 2 also don really like it.

With Eunice & Anna for breakfast.

Overall, the food are not bad as there are many cafe serve better ones as the price of it are slightly above average with the lazy presentation that they are doing. Coffee here definitely top notch. One of a good place to go for coffee break!
