BBC Set Lunch

We have seen the poster for quite sometime already. Then 6 of us decided to have lunch over there yesterday since its only RM 10. It includes a soup, main dish, fruits and a drink. Not many choice they have but then we are their 1st customer of the day.

The soup that they serve is like what I rate it ‘Ajinomoto’ Soup. It has lil cabbage, tomato pieces. Taste watery.
The best food among the rest would be this spaghetti. Taste like Olio spaghetti. Has strong aroma of tomato and lil of basil flavour. The garlic bread is nice, nicely baked.
The Rafflesia Chicken Curry, it taste not bad, the chicken is tender and curry is welled cook, can taste its not chicken curry powder type. Just that if it is serve hot instead warm, it would be nice. Wish they can reheat the food. hehe
This is Borneo Beef Stew, sounds nice, I have no idea how it taste cuz I cant take beef. They said its so so only.

When paying the bill, it makes us frustrated abit as it was written on the banner and the menu saying RM 10 nett, so everyone of us already got our RM 10 out and when the bill came it included 5% service tax. WTF..have to prepare some coins. If it stated RM 10 nett, they should already include the 5% tax. Why separate? Can’t just they round it up. Aiii…..

Kafe Strawberry Fields

Heee, at last I have decided to try the cafe next to this duck rice last weekend that I always eat which is one of my Favourite stall. Heard by my friends and colleague saying that the food next door is quite nice, so me and my friend decided to give it a try.

The cafe definitely have nice ambiance as that day was a match of ManU against ManC. Quite a nice place to watch football also.


Never really care less about the match as I was very hungry and quite alot of patrons in the cafe that day. Seems like alot of the customer in there ordered western food as in the menu it has a wide range of food, from western, Chinese fried style cuisine and Malay food.

So I ended up ordering Mushroom Soup and Spaghetti Carbonara.

Mushroom Soup
The mushroom soup came first, can say that the butter is very very nice with the bread. to my disappointment the Soup, i believe every one can cook it. It taste like Campbell Soup with a lil water in there.
Spaghetti Carbonara
The Spaghetti Carbonara it looks very delicious when it came. Looks cheezy and creamy. Then I fast fast try it. ‘celaka‘ salt no need money ah. If it is less salt, I believe it will taste nice. It is very cheezy and creamy, ori of carbonara. Overall for the soup and spaghetti, I did not finish both of the food. Only manage to finish half each.
On the other side my friend she ordered, Mushroom Soup also and Mushroom Chicken.
The Mushroom Chicken when it was served, definitely the food presentation is much better compare to mine, the chicken is like nearly covered by the mushroom and the sos is dark brown, serve with french friends, red beans and coleslaw. Saw the expression when she first bite it, she like smirk and find it a bit salty. She did manage to finish the food cuz she was hungry.
Mushroom Chicken
Overall, will return for the food again by trying other dishes, definitely won’t try back their western menu. The price for the food is kinda average as comes to RM37.50

Mamma Mia! The Smash Hit Musical

Hee, when I came to work and stand on the reception area in the morning checking out on the front page newspaper and the poster caught my eyes.’ Mama Mia’. Quickly read thru it and I am so happy when I saw the column saying that Mama Mia have extra shows. Quickly back to my cubicle called a few of my friends to check on them whether are they still interested. Getting very nervous and anxious siting in front of my working desk and waiting for their reply.
“tik tok tik tok“…aii..y so slow..celaka..faster la..later ticket finish again how..(in my heart)
Ahaaaa, finally there is 1 willing to go with me n kutuk me also y so ah pek watch this mama mia..lol …..then try the online booking, getting so damm frustrated as loading failed so many many times… #$!@#$%!
Called their ticketing line, wow, surprisingly I got cut of the 1st time I was so frustrated cuz was holding on the phone for around 15 mins by the computer voice generated saying ‘ I am sorry, we are experience heavy traffic, please hold’ until the last sentence was ‘ I am sorry, all operator are busy, good bye!~’ wahh..totally shock and geram. Made my call again and hold for another 15 mins, thought I am gonna get cut off soon and so relief when heard ‘ called tranffering‘ ..wahahha…cross my finger and hoping to get the zone and the day I want. Unfortunately Friday is like mostly sold out. Selling so fast, as the news was just this few hours ago, GILA eh…then tried on the last day~ Tier 1 all sold out..so manage to get the Tier 2..wohooo..nice place I got.. its in the middle and 2 row.
 
Wahhh~ when after confirm and got my ticket.. I am just so happy, as previously when the early birds released 2 months ago, wait for my friends to check that day can , this 1 can that 1 cannot. arrange until the end the ticket was left 2% and its all random seats. By that time was hoping got extra show, please got extra show, ……amitaba…..lol….

Heee and of course ‘Ma Ma Mia, Here i Come again’
Cant wait for the day to come.

Wushu

This is another show that I watched last week. During movie day and it was lucky that I watch it on that day.
Honestly its kinda boring show as for the first half hour because it is in mandarin also. It is because the show is about how the kids grow up in Wushu School in China and participate in the reginal competition and gain their entry to Sports school. One of their senior went off track from Wushu culture and involve in kids kinapping and let the junior and the mentor (Samo Hung) discover about it.
Ended up in the end, the realise that what their mentor had told them from the begining and just realise it what does it mean that time. The tradion of Wushu passing from one to another.
Watch this movie because of Samo Hung is one of the actor and Jackie Chan is one of the producer.
 
If you thought of watching this movie, you can safe some money and I highly recomended you buy a dvd and watch at home.

Bolt Movie 3D

Last week I watched the movie Bolt when it got release. watched with the 3-D version..The glasses are so cool.
Now i believe pixar is moving into the direction of 3-D animation with most of their upcoming movie are available in 2 versions. 2-D and 3-D with all their preview in 3-D version which is pretty cool. This picture the quality of the colours are so fine and so nice.
For this movie, i would only recommend to watch in 2-D version as there is not much special effects that you can see in 3-D version yet it is kinda pricy for 3-D version. which is RM18 for 1 ticket. Still think its nicer with the Journey to the Center Earth in 3-D version. with the piranas flying around, lava, the bird.
Hamster a.k.a Rhino
Definately the movie is enjoying, its the dog which is so naif that he actually believe that he was the real superhero to protect that girl(Penny) and definately i find the cutest is the Hamster a.k.a Rhino..’ka ching’ lol~
If you are a animation lover, this show would be worth a watch.
