One of a lovely place that I have visited a few times over casual gathering. The Point located in Damansara is operating on level 1 & 2 where is also divided into 2 sections. Level 1 would be a restaurant dining and their level 2 is a mini bar. Filled with great ambiance that makes it a perfect place for gathering. 
As for this round, The Point launches a brand new fusion style menu of innovative dishes inspired by its signature style of Local, Asian, European, and Mediterranean flavours for year 2016 along with their second year anniversary.

Big Breakfast @ RM28 – Pork Sausage, pork bacon, prosciutto, poached/scrambled eggs, accompanied with brioche and hash brown.

Mozzarella Stuffed Portobello Mushroom – served with pesto and balsamico. One of a memorable range for the night where portobello mushroom coated with a thin layer of batter then deep fried till crispy to perfection yet it is still juicy. Fragrant of the mushroom is still there and cheeze makes the taste more interesting.

Surf and Turf @ RM32 – Corned beef burger, deep fried crayfish, dill mayo, Mesclun salad, chips.

Salted egg yolk soft shell crab @ RM29 – topped with curry leaf infused cream sauce, served in lettuce cups.

Prawn and Crab Croquette – served with Laksa coconut broth & topped with salmon roe.

Truffled cold angel hair, Avruga Caviar @  RM30

To me, this is the super star of the night where, truffled oil scent is the hero of the taste where angle hair is cook to perfection, it is al-dante.  There is a reason where the portion is serve small, where it is just right amount for me to bear.

Suckling Pig 12 Hour Slow Cooked, Served with Plum & Balsamico @ RM52, at the presented menu, this is another dish where I am looking forward for. However the size and the price tag will create unsatisfactory. Although it is pungent in taste and it would be perfect if it is serve 6 pieces.

Citrus Cured Salmon Carpaccio, Served with 62c Egg Yolk, Wasabe Mayo, Salted Kelp & Truffled Toast @ RM42. Served with 62cc egg yolk, wasabi mayo, salted kelp, truffled toast

Pan seared black cod @ RM62 – Perfectly seared thick and juicy cod accompanied with smoked caviar dressing, asparagus, mushroom fritters and balsamico.

For this dish, there is a twist in it where Bak Kut Teh is serve in different version. What about in a fine dine setting? @ RM47 – 12 Hours slow cooked pork belly, served with quinoa, bok choy, garlic, chilli padi soy glaze. topped with mushroom tempura.

Chicken in Percik Sauce @ RM38 is obviously a take from our local Malay percik dish, served with creamy mash, asparagus, quinoa crisp andpercik sauce.

1. Halibut Fish Linguine @ RM28 – tossed with cream, asparagus, parsley, and grana padana cheese.
2. Pesto Prawn Linguine @ RM30 – Tossed with basil pesto and topped with grilled jumbo prawn.
3. Spaghetti Rosso @ RM28 – Tossed with sundried tomatoes pesto, Anchovies and pine nuts.

Mille-feuille Ricotta @ RM26 – Layers of puff pastry filled with ricotta cheese, peach, berries.

Chocolate fudge @ RM25 – Homemade served with pistachios, and vanilla ice cream.

Creme brulee @ RM25 – Kah lua and bailey’s infused creme brulee.

Its a great place to hang out with friends especially at their level 2 bar.
