There is a huge wave of good feedback to Dottys Pastries & Coffee. When they launch the salted egg yolk cronut, every one went “yaya” over it. I have never tried till recently decided to pay a visit.
I always thought that they are a pastry shop, and little did i know that they do serve mains or lunch and dinner in proper meal.
Arrangement in their cake display area is well done. It makes it look like you would want to order the whole zone.
coffee is not too bad too. Not too acidic to my liking.
As we reach here about 4.30pm, their signature salted egg yolk croissant was already sold out. to our disappointment, opted for their second option which is salted egg yolk donut. Love the texture of soft fluffy doughnut and the fillings of salted egg yolk is consider generous.
In the list, I decided to order the weird one which is Onde Onde Coissant Doughnut. It is a bit unique where it had a slight chewy texture as the filling base and the coissant is slightly crips outside. Not too bad though.
Black cup cake Salted egg yolk is the least favourite.
Follow by their Chocolate Croissant. When comes to this bite, I think it is too heavy as the first 2 flavour is already quite strong in taste. Even though pair with coffee to balance off the taste, personally still feel that it might be slightly too much for me.
Will be back to hunt their signature item.
