Ippudo New Seasonal Black Spicy Ramen from 5th January to 31st March 2015

Those of you whom are a fan of Ippudo, you might love their new seasonal special menu for 2015. There are a few new dishes that will be added into their menu.

Spicy Black Ramen @ RM26

To be honest, among the ramen range that they have, I love this new dish for its spicy taste, that uses original pork broth with unique spicy nikumiso that specially prepared using black pepper, shansho and other spices.

Ramen noodle is cook to perfection, and this is cook to medium hard and slightly chewy that comes to my liking. Love their slightly thick soup base, aromatic and some of them find that the spicy chili paste is spicy for them. I find its just nice for me. For the chili paste, it comes with mince pork in there to make the soup flavourful.  For this version, its only spicy is preferred, or you can remove half the paste yourself to the side.

Serving in a flat plate with nicely decorated star fish version is this Spider Roll @ RM 18.  The roll is serve with soft shell crab with sushi rice, seaweed, cucumber and lettuces add on with their spicy mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce on top.
