Chinese New Year, what do you usually do after bai nian? Hunting for some new cafe while waiting for time to pass by. I was recently introduce by my friend to check this place out. Lavish A Fusion Bakery By Love A Loaf is certainly one of the newer cafe in Penang and also one of the most impressive ones in terms of both menu and interior. Currently sits in one of my top cafe list in Penang.
Lavish sits in the heart of heritage area which is also right at the back of popular coffee place China House.
The outlet is also operate by another small florist Petals & Leafz which is one of the concept florist similiar to what we have in KL.
Lavish interior is indeed nice where the center area is filled with natural light and plants around it.
I arrive around 9.30am that day and quite dissapointed where the bakery section is still slowly filling up.
Their menu is quite interesting and will be back again to try out next for their mains.
This menu attracted me the most. Cronnuts!
Tried their pastries and I am in love with them. Pastries starting from RM 3 – RM 9. Love their French Pastries quality and also price is very decent. Did bought other flavours back for my parents.
Latte @ RM 10.50 is also very decent as their coffee is to my liking where filled with mild bitter and not too acidic.
Then tried their Green Tea Cronut and it turns out to be good. Decent amount of flavouring and it is just simple and nice.
Durian Cronut Tower. Cripsy texture and the durian ice cream is awesome. punch in your face for the durian flavour.
