Ever read before the bedtime story 3 Little Pig? Now they have come to life in reality. Its not the typical 3 piggies that build their house  then got blown away. This is other way round. Building more modern style with steel and glass windows, and both ended up in the kitchen being cook~ 3 Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

3 little pig (1)

This modern 3 little pig located outside facing main road or next to Jaya Grocer in Bangsar Village. Welcoming you at the door step is this little 2 wooden door that you have to hop in and will be warmly greeted by the friendly staff at front desk.

Operating bout a month that is pretty new to the area, attracted many people to dine in here and already have mix reviews that I read over the blog. I was highly recommended by a friend that MUST NOT miss this fantastic restaurant that serve great porkie food. I guess this is a good sign for many pork lovers like us.

3 little pig (6)

whereby you can sit here and chill along by ordering some snacks.

3 little pig (7)

Huge group like us, of course we would want some privacy and they do have a room that can fit at least 10 of you.

3 little pig (8)

Porkie stuff usually will go well with beer or wine. how can i miss that . . heheh

The menu offering and names are very interesting. That’s why I said both of the piglets and wolf ended up in kitchen.

3 little pig (11)

Wild Mushrooms Soup @ RM15 is one of the hot soup that you must order. Blended with few types of mushroom to make every sip of it aromatic and nice do drink yet can bite some chunks of it. Recommended~

3 little pig (12)

Sweet Carrot Bacon Soup is rather thick in texture and creamy@ RM15

3 little pig (13)

I love this Garlic  Caramelized Roast Pork. One of the starter that I enjoy alot. I keep picking slices by slices till it finish. Well quoated in dark soya sauce and not too salty, just nice to pair with my beer too. .  @ RM15

3 little pig (14)

Garlic Mushrooms @ RM 15 is slightly pricey and if you get to chose of course will opt for the Garlic  Caramelized Roast Pork.

3 little pig (15)

This is no ordinary chicken drum stick or satay. This is actually a Pork Drumsticks @ RM 13

3 little pig (16)

Pork Kebabs are filled with well balance of lean meat and fats. Just nice to tease your taste bud. @ RM22

3 little pig (17)

Cold cuts platter @ RM59, which has parma, serrano, salami, chorizo and olives.

3 little pig (18)

Something healthy yet sinful, here is one of the order to hunt for dressing is perfect and bacon are well prepare.. Crispy Bacon & Asparagus Salad @ RM23

3 little pig (19)

Grilled Pork Salad @ RM22

3 little pig (20)

I usually do not prefer tomato base sauce spaghetti that make it a classic sauce that is aromatic and mince meat that comes to my liking. Piggy Bolognaise @ RM19

3 little pig (21)

It is not alien that invade earth and this cheeky dish is called Alien Invasion @ RM26 was a plate of squiggly long-legged spaghetti threaded through slices of sausages and tossed with button mushrooms in a creamy sauce. I love the texture of spaghetti which is slightly thicker than the ordinary type. Cook to al-dante and just perfect. Something that I like. Some find it a bit creamy and its advise to share. – Recommended~

3 little pig (22)

Why I said Wolf and pig are in kitchen, as this is one of the reason.  Wolf’s Favourite that have a poached egg on the top and with slices and chunks of smoked pork bacon, along with crispy bacon bits@ RM27. A plate that had gone within seconds. another recommended~

3 little pig (23)

Glazed BBQ Pork Ribs @ RM59 served with fries and garden salad was slathered with homemade BBQ Sauce.

3 little pig (24)

Piggies Rolling in Mud @ RM25 , it turned out to be crumbed pork cutlets served with rice and a mild Japanese curry, if you love Japanese curry then this is another dish not to be miss. Mild texture of curry that pour onto the meat and rice.

3 little pig (25)

Mighty Piggy Burger @ RM24 A medium size pork patty, cheese, fried egg, herbed mayo sauce served with fries and house salad. Not bad as the patty are season with some light spices too. If the yolk are half cook then it would have been perfect.

3 little pig (26)

This is the most unique dish on the table that Roast Porky Fried Rice might look ordinary. Its a fried rice that burst with flavours. Cook to perfection with wok hei and japanese rice that makes every mouthfull delicious with mild spicy after taste, filled with perfect size of roast pork. @ RM19

3 little pig (29)

Deep-fried Mars Bar @ RM15 one of the selection on desert menu that tempt us to order.

3 little pig (30)

Coffee in here are pretty decent that stood above average or a better ones compare to many other outlets. A great way to end the meal with.

3 little pig (31)

Find that 3 Little pig and Big Bad Wolf definately stood above my expectations and if you are asking me would I come back again, surely yes. Already miss a few items in there.

I got food poisoning eating the mighty piggy burger yesterday. I felt like dying last night, it was the most painful feeling ever. It was so bad i pictured cutting my stomach open with a katana and letting all the air out because my stomach was as bloated as a puffer fish when it puffs up.

This sucks because I had a pretty good experience at the restaurant, the staff are polite and helpful, I am a big fan of the way the place is designed (hats off to the designer), i’m not there all the time but when I was the crowd was pretty decent.

So anyways, I am quite certain it was the burger that gave me food poisoning (I found out it was food poisoning after waiting in agony for the doctor for an hour!) because it was the only thing I ate for lunch and I didn’t eat anything between then and getting the stomach ache.

So in conclusion, I hope the company takes better care in the preparation of their food and maybe the way the food is thawed. If I wanted to spend 30 bucks on 12 trips to the toilet I’d walk myself into the closest guardian pharmacy and buy 5 bottles of laxative, down it like I just walked into zouk and then have a fking toilet party.
