So near yet so far as this eatery was hidden right below my nose as its so near my house. It was a random discovery that decided to explore this area with my housemate with constantly looking at the sign Jaya Grocer is just around the corner which sits in The Verve Suites.
Among the shops here, B-Lab seems to be the busiest among to the rest.
You will be surprise to see as quite a distinctive crowd here which totally feels that you are at oversea. You will also notice quite a number of Japanese crowd as this outlet is run by master baker Yukichi Matsubara & his wife Zenn.
For this neighbourhood, their bread range is certainly impressive as its freshly baked from the oven and when its finish then they will only start another batch.
Love their dessert range too.
Bought their fresh cream cheese bun, love the softness of the bun and fresh ingredient of pretty mild to strong soft cheeze taste that comes to my liking.
The outlet sitting in Mont Kiara, you certainly will be looking at such price but, I am quite surprise on the generosity of their portion.
Latte to start off with as if you are acidic and strong coffee person, you will love their coffee here.
Ice Lemon Tea with its colour look pretty solid and the taste of it is amazing and refreshing.
B-Lab Special Breakfast that serve in quite a big portion.
Tuna Spaghetti Aglio Alio is something very simple and direct yet portion is slightly bigger than normal
Read a few review that their Cider-braised pork belly with herb gnocchi @ RM35 is a recommended one. To me it is just nice, not those fantastic ones but good enough to satisfy, as they have serve a pretty good cut of pork with well balance of meat and fats in between.
Salmon to go next which is something rather simple as the only catch to make it more fantastic in taste is the outer ring line of balsamic vinegar.
End my meal by ordering their Japanese Fruit Swiss Roll. Highly recommended as the cake is so soft, aromatic cream with fresh fruits is just perfect!
I have always wanted to try Mont Blanc Cake as it do look pretty premium and not many places offer this. Was already too full and still curious how it would taste and ended up ordering one to try out.
Crust is too solid for me and the top cream seems a bit ashy and sandy version of texture.
One of my usual brunch or lunch place when I ran out of ideas on hunting where to eat. Something simple and direct.
