Decided to make a simple comparison for this 2 famous pork ribs brand in Bali. Hog Wild vs Naughty Nuri
For the past 2 rounds when I was at Bali, I only head to Hog Wild for bbq pork ribs as knowing its authenticity. However for my recent trip decided to give Naughty Nuri a try since many of my friends highly recommended it and also we have a few branches in Malaysia.
My simple comparison comes out to as below:
1) Hog Wild Seminyak
The ambiance still as it is when I was here 5 years ago.
Taste is still classic sticky ribs which is well marinated, meat is soft, tender and juicy. Sauce is fragrant and slightly salty to my liking. Portion is slightly smaller but comes with 1 side dish.

2) Naughty Nuri Seminyak
Find that the taste of meat is quite porky. Sauce is slightly sweeter which I do not really prefer. Meat is not as soft and fragrant as to compare with Hog wild. Portion is definitely bigger, but no sides.
My verdict is Hog wild win. Personally, I felt that Naughty Nuri in Malaysia (Hartamas Outlet) is much better.

A new brand which I saw is Wahaha Pork Ribs. I think worth to give it a try or maybe some of you can let me know how’s the feedback. They have 3 outlets in total with one in Seminyak too.
