At times, lost of idea for meals could be a good thing as this random hunting turns out to be a hidden gem in Kota Damansara area. Found this lady that sells Chinese Nasi Lemak infront of Hup May Kopitiam (in front of Sunway Nexis) turns out to be rewarding.
Is a family run business that runs this mini stall with her son and husband. Also found out that she is from Penang Mainland and taste profile is very near to our homecook food in Penang.
Simple offering yet spot on, such as curry chicken, sambal sotong and others are not to be miss. Their (sambal shrimp is not to be miss) where it is one of the best mini dish as a side to hit on.
Home made items such as Kuih sengkuang and classic Teo Chiew kuih and yam cake is while stock last.
this is my usual order where rice is pandan fragrance falvoured with curry chicken gravy banjir.
Ikan Kembung sambal is good too! not too spicy as the heat on the fish to enhance the flavour of it. Just like my moms cooking.
This yam cake is slightly inconsistant as at time it is good at time is below par.
Daily tong sui is different. Love this black glutinous rice or known as Bee Kor mooi is my favourite so far. Others would be hit and misses.
Best of this stall is their classic Chinese nasi lemak. Others is by luck. Been to this stall numerous time for simple dinner as a small table is provided at the side of it. Only 1 table.
