Takoyaki is actually one of my favourite Japanese Street snacks. I still remember my first bite when I were traveling in Hong Kong 12 years ago. That taste and memory is still one of the best and that shop no longer in operation. Gindako is one of a famous Japanese Takoyaki brand that now operates in our Malaysian Shores that operates by a new sister company from famous brand operator ChaTime.
Their first outlet were at Aeon Shah Alam and it were quite far to travel all the way there for this. Their expansion growth is slow yet manage to try it out at one of their latest outlet Gindako Publika.
Love their machine as it do look cool. With automated shake and auto ball roller is quite new to me. The squid size is bigger than other takoyaki place.
Flavours are very direct with the classic are always the Original with squid.
This round I tried their cheese version. Turns out to be alright. Slightly crispy skin soft filling inside and it is quite similiar to the one I had in Bangkok 3 months ago. It is a tricky snacks that serve in variety of texture. Every one have their own preference.

Very convenient location for me too! Does it come with big piece of octopus? The one sold at Aeon always stingy with the size of octopus, so I stop buying from there >_<
