A simple dish of Fried sausage with onion chili, eggs and ikan bilis is quite flavourful with the sausage is nicely fried to a bit chewy and the cili padi added in to bring up the spiciness of it is just right. RM9.00
We love the Pork Chop Noodle – RM7. Pork chop been well fried and season on with the taste of it and the noodle is springy to our likings. Ended up ta pau 2 pack for friends.
Hailam Mee Dry – RM6.50
Although I am Hainanese, I have never actually taste a origin food of my own culture and this would be the first Hailam Braised Mutton Stew (served with white rice) – something dish that you would not want to misss if you are eating along with rice. Nice aromotic gravy and mutton had been braised for quite sometime to make it so soft and soak along the taste of the soup base. RM13.90
For pork lovers, you should go after Curry Pork Rib – RM11.50 with thick curry gravy and eat along my rice, I am just loving it.
Braised spare ribs – RM9.00, is another dish to look on, soft tender ribs and price is just right not to be miss.
I would say this is one of their signature dish “Zha Fa Yok” (炸花肉) – RM11.50 Fried crisply on the roast pork and add on with their own special sauce, it smell so nice till we sapu it gone so fast. The roast pork fats is evenly distributed in it.
For me, I love my pork chop to have thick in gravy and quite peppery. This is definitely the one I like it to be, a bit strong with many people might not like the taste of it but that’s the way I prefer. Black pepper pork chop – RM12.90
