Last round when I was back to Penang, my dad brought me back to one of his favourite place which is to Kedai Makanan & Minuman Hong Keat that located at Raja Uda, at mainland. This is one of a coffee shop that is well know for three things.

One is this, another famous Yam Rice.

Like any other stall, they have plenty of pig spare parts for you to choose from and their soup base is from sourish salted vegetables pork soup and a side dish of braised pork knuckle in Chinese black vinegar to share. Soup base here is totally different from one of my favourite stall (click here) which is 20 minutes away where this soup base is not that sourish yet have a unique taste in it.

Secondly, which is a stall next to them is famous for huge range dishes available for encomy rice version. You will see alot of neighbourhood folks do drop by to make a take away for lunch or dinner for their families.

Lastly is a stall next to them which is well known for curry fish head. I would certainly come back again with a few friends to try out more of it.
