Chong Kok (4)

Not many choices to go after for a very traditional breakfast menu in the kopitiam that offers more on toast and Kopi.

Chong Kok (5)

Cheng Kok Kopi which is thick in flavour, with strong hint of nice coffee powder brew on it that makes it quite authentic in taste yet its not too sweet. Most of coffee lover would love this cup of coffee for the start of the day.

Then I saw prawn crackers available and took some. Crispy on the outer layer and soft from the inside which shown it had been carefully fried and the prawns in it are quite big. Dipping it with the homemade chili sauce turns out to be pretty good.

For healthy purpose I opted for ‘Bun Gandum Set + Butter’ which seems a bit unique that I have never tried before. Toast to crispy in inside out spread it with kaya and butter its a good way to start my perfect day as I love the taste of the bread. A bit strong in gandum taste but some might not like it.

The rest of the set are ‘Bun with Cold Butter’

Chong Kok (9)

Half Boil Egg not to be miss.

As we end our first round quite satisfied and the price is pretty cheap I would say. . . . but I was sad that, the restaurant owner told us that the Malay stall that sell Nasi Lemak is very good but she finish selling it for the day very fast because it was Puasa Month, ask us to come again. 🙁

Food Rating 6.5/10, decent eh~ -Stamped- Recommended~
