Nice Taiwanese Food at New Farmosa Restaurant @ SS2

farmosa (9)

The first dish of the night starts of with one of crowds favourite Formosa Special Combination Dish

farmosa (10)

Taiwanese Three-cup New Zealand mussels,

Fried Golden mushrooms with shelled Lala with popped rice,

Deep-fried **Pig’s Intestines with sesame seeds Taiwanese style,

Fried Tiger prawns stuffed with special garlic paste,

Formosan style stir- fried butter eel (Unagi),

farmosa (11)

the golden mushroom added onto the rice crackers

farmosa (12)

Roasted crispy suckling pig Hong Kong style 港式沙皮乳猪 @ RM74 -Half

farmosa (13)

Just by looking at it, I already cant wait to hunt all the crips piglet skin. Its cripsy with a thin layer of pig fats at the bottom and dip with the sweet sauce given is just good. It was gone in 60 seconds, now we only eat the skin and what about the meat? they had turn it into 2 flavours.

farmosa (14)

Yam duck is something new to me, that I usually have the normal roast duck, black pepper but not like this. Fried in golden brown colour stuff with yam and a fine slice of duck meat in it, I would say something unique in taste and nice.

farmosa (18)

Longan Pi-Pa Duck

farmosa (15)

Chinese Ham with Honey Sauce  served with Luxury Chinese Ham Sandwich,** Served with Chinese Silver Threads ** Bread (Hunan’s Special Traditional Ham Dish) *

If you do go there and dine, this would be one of the dish I am recommending. A bit sweet on the gravy yet the chinese ham is salty then you wrap it with man tou that I would called it Taiwan burger that turns out to be a good combination.

farmosa (16)

Steamed Tiger Prawns with Herbs (Taiwan Hakka dish) 台式客家竹筒虾 @ RM27 -Small, RM41 – Big

farmosa (17)

Fresh Prawns being steam and all the taste of the strong soup had soak well with the prawn make it juicy and aromatic, just need to do one thing, dip it with a simple soy sauce you will be enjoying it.

farmosa (19)

Fried grouper Taiwanese home style cooking, with spicy suace served withdeep fried Chinese silver bread

farmosa (20)

If you love some soup base, somethng a bit sour, spicy with  meat then you can try ordering Australian beef tendon with vermicelli soup Taiwanese Sichuan style Australian beef  tendon  vermicelli soup   台湾川式澳洲牛腱面线 @ RM 9 – Small, RM15-Medium, RM20-Large. Soft juicy tendon been cook perfectly and the soup is not too watery that goes on well.

Overall, for Taiwanese food available in the area, I do not mind to revisit this place to go for their other choice, tempted to try on their other range.
