Seoul, still remains one of my favourite city to go back. If you are a cafe hopper, Cafe scene in Seongsudong or Seongdong-gu remains as one of the upcoming local hipster cafe joint that is popping up like mushroom. In the area, Onion Cafe remain one of the top choices for many local visitor because of the structure and also the serve one of the best pastries in the area.
Currently this area is also known as Brooklyn of Seoul.
In love with this cafe upon walking in. Truely amaze how they converted a run down building or near to our ghost house in KL to industrial minimalist cafe. Everything is quite raw. Raw walls, floors with just a slight touch of it to give you this cozy space.
Most of the cafe goers here are local. You wont hear any other languages other than Koreans.
There are 2 signature item in this cafe. One is this Straweberry Cronuts
and Pandor (W5,000/ RM 19) which is a pastry topped off lavishly with icing sugar.
It is a full house cafe on weekdays.
Alot of young crowd here spend quite a while to do their #ootd and nearly every corner is cool.
It is summer, and quite warm up here. If this is winter, it is a cool place to chill.
Coffee here is quite good. Rangers from (W5,000/ RM 19) each for my Latte and Cappucino.
Upon a few cafe that I have visited, Onion cafe pastries win big. Love the airy texture and the pencil pastries below is so soft and fluffy. Icing sugar which is not too sweet makes it a perfect combination with their own blend of coffee.
If you visit SEOUL, this cafe is a must visit cafe.
