Shift the skin towards the end of our finger and shape it abit till its round on the bottom.

Then wrap your fingers around the skin and press it rock solid with the based skin supported on the fourth finger.

Finally, top it with a thin slice of scallop and press it hard by the side of a flat knife.

Working in progress. . . .All the ingredients have to be added into the bowl and massage and spread it all evenly before wrapping it.

At the end result it would look like a soft dough that can stick onto the wall perfectly yet melting down later on. Uli and Vialentino playfull mood with their final dough.

This is my plate of Deep Fried Crispy Prawn Dumpling and it taste awesome, perfectly fried, and filled with solid ingredients that every bite is full of prawns.

At the end of the workshop I am very happy that I get to learn a skill added into my list, something which is very simple to be made at home and enjoy of course for the next round of potluck that organize by my friends, this would be one of the dish that I can prepare. . . All I do is to say, thanks Kattie for the invites, definitely we all love it also to Ken, Uli and Vialentino for the pictures. . .

  1. Great! Is this a Halal dim sum? I didn’t know dim sum is for breakfast. I never eat fresh dim sum before. Normally I bought it frozen and cook at home. =)
