For once we do not know what to eat, then Ken suggested why not we head down to KL for good Roast Goose over lunch since he need to go Pudu area to purchase an item. He also mention that its one of his favourite place for Roast Goose whereby its one of the best you can get in KL if you comparing over to Hong Kong.

Restaurant Wei Kee is another classic hidden gem around Pudu area, as whereby one of my favourite Tong Sui (Chinese Dessert soup shop) is around there too.

most of the diners in this shop are early diners whereby they come for early lunch. We were pretty late that day as we reach about 1.30pm and usually roast goose will be sold out by then. Ken mention that the safest time to have roast goose is to reach before 12.30pm.

All pricing for all dishes are stated on the wall . .

Do not worry that these shop will provide you different pricing.

When we reach, only left one duck and many customers still waiting and we were worrying is it enough for us. The lady boss mention, don worry, we still have plenty more. Come have a seat. Then moments later the chef bring out another 3 more duck out which is freshly done from the kitchen.

Bean Curd with Pork @ RM 6 is one of the specialty that Ken said not to be miss.

Apologize for the blur picture that its stuff with mince homemade pork patty that have a bit of ham choy and little salted fish in it that makes it so fragrant and the gravy that ooze out along is good.

Roast Goose (Quater) @ RM 50

Roast Goose came in with its skin so shinny, and burst with aroma when it is place on top of the table, just cant wait to have the drum stick as we can still see pippin hot smoke from the meat. The meat look totally different , tender and juicy. Taste is really good as you can see the texture of the meat and the gravy that they use makes it extra kick.

Vegetable (Kiam Chai Boey) that will go very well with the duck, as its sour enough and mild spicy end.@ RM 6

This are the sauce to pair with the roast goose are plum sauce and special homemade chili sauce.

Roast Duck (Half) @ RM 28

Duck meat is meaty and tender also. According to Ken, this place the duck meat is slightly more than the other place that he have eaten. The gravy they use is from some oil that the duck had ooze out during the roast session and mix with a bit of chinese herbal.

If you are looking for nice meal for Goose meat, this is one of the place to be as around the area, there are a few more shops selling pretty same thing and is for you to find out the best or what you like. Ken had tried most of it there and this is what he recommends to us.

But it says on the pricelist that half a roast goose is RM99. How come it’s only RM50 in the pic?
